Can't help you without your decklist! I ran rainbow road for a short while and didn't find it clunky, A little longer set up time but not clunky.

I play tournaments at my local store (licenced events) every time I get a chance but they don't allow proxies/ world championship cards etc. This year I'm hoping to attend some bigger events if I get the chance.

Firstly your ether run 4 Talonflame or none and with a deck running 11 Basics with only 3 of them being Talonflame your going to extremely struggle to get Talonflame in your opening hand to play as your active pokemon.

I really like this deck idea and tempted to play it myself. The only thing I would change from the list above is swap out Skyla (Too slow) for the 4th Trainer's Mail.

If your running the Mega you don't need the FFB (I personally run the mega over them). Also the Goldduck line seems too clunky and unnecessary, If you want to run a Water varient you should run something like a mix of Regice and Glaceon EX with ninja boy

Been playing around a bit more and I this is what I've settled for at the moment. I'm not to keen on fairy garden but after testing Sky field, Silent Lab & Parallel city I found it to be the most useful. All where pretty useless and a lot of the time where just used to get rid of opps stadium...

Yeah I would love to run Shaymin but I can't merit spending £80 on 2 cards (need two ideally).

Have you thought about adding a small Infernoape (STS) line in? Perfect partner for Typlosion but it's more Basics to interfear with Talonflame.

Thanks for the reply. I have got a Volcanion EX but where I play octillary I found it wasn't that gooday because it lost its effectiveness as a duel type. I also tried running EXP. Share but found Max elixir better and when I ran both of them I found it very cumbersome (might just be me lol)...

Indeed it does stop Carbink and Mew but 9 times out of 10 the Silent Lab is more effective anyway, I don't just drop Silent Lab when I draw it unless I need to. For example I'd rather have Silent Lab down against a Volcanion deck rather than Mew's or Carbink's ability. Mew's and Carbink's...

Hey, The simplest thing to do would be run a 2-2 Octillairy line instead of the Shaymin EX. Or failing that a 'Fight Alone' Lucario deck works extremely well and better without Shaymin EX. I'd be more than happy to share my decklist with you if you want?
