something interesting about instacheck, if you have a friend near you or you have 2 3ds.... I connected one to the virtual hotspot and the other to internet and send the trade and it worked with instacheck :P

I just checked my Y game and my SV is 3133, so 1980 for X and 3133 for you all :D

I just tried, i'm using only my laptop with no ethernet connection, only the wi-fi and it worked, my shiny value is 1980, sorry, this is my trainer shiny value xD
