its not all about decking your opponent though. imo its about discarding cards crucial to their setup. in those 5 turns your opponent most likely is not taking all 6 prizes, but you are discarding up to 20 of their cards. that will hugely affect how they can play the rest of the game. also...

druddigon will be amazing with rugged helmet. attack and take 4 dmg counters? attack that can abuse dce maybe even play the shamin pachi engine. hold them in with attack so they are forced to switch or attack and take another 4 dmg. 100 hp while weak compared to the 130 dragons and new basics...

aerceops would be decent in here too. well maybe. but the deck definately needs something to help with consistency or bad machups

beartic still has the option of being up and going t2. the deck would most likely not run many trainers outside rare candy and communication. machamp prime needs just as much energy to attack as beartic and is a stage 2 so is slowed if you do have your vileplume up so good luck getting multiple...

i really like it. ive tried somehting similar. have you thought about using houndoom (non prime) for extra damage output and still hand disruption. maybe: -1 communication -1 great ball -1 collector -1 pokeball +2-2 houndoom

what about tangrowth with pachi/shaymin. i do like the megagrowth though

wow Hydreigon is a beast. that attack pairs amazingly with absol start and mandibuzz for clean up. if you had a psychic energy attacked to Hydreigon could he benefit form metagross's body for free retreat? or is that energy no longer considered psychic? also might play well with kingdra to spray...

lol. what do you even mean? he was saying you cant candy beartic becuase hes stage one. where krookodile can be candied t2 and attack for one less energy. and on the off chance you cant candy to krookodile, he still has the option to tomrent by evolving to his stage one krokorok.

but how does crobat make gengar any more effective? the only thing youve said they would make them work well is free retreat. im trying a deck with crobat/yanmega/mandibuzz/spiritomb. check it out here
