The "shinies" they chose for the tins is just them mocking us lol not like Paldea has a lot of good shinies to choose from anyways

I know it's not the first time they do this, it happens every generation, and I'm not complaining, I just find it strange/curious when they include Pokémon in the sets that don't even appear in the regional Pokédexes of their corresponding games, for example in this case...
I actually did ask for this for ages. It's the first set to ever include all the 151 Pokémon, because Gen 1 had them all divided between Base, Jungle, etc.
I love them. I like how they kept the same artist for each evolutionary family, though Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan got different ones, same as Eevee and its evolutions.
I kinda wish there were normal versions for the ex Pokémon, such as Arbok or Wigglytuff to keep this theme of sharing the same artist...
haha well, of course I don't play the game, I only collect the Pokémon cards, but even if I played I'd still feel robbed that the holo turned out to be a trainer card (especially those that are items) and not a Pokémon. Like, how is it more appealing to get a shiny trainer card than an actual...
what I hate the most is when the reverse holo is a Trainer card, I couldn't care less about them and I feel robbed every time I pull one of those, including those golden cards, which I happen to have several of them
