Just a little glitch report - I was in Classic with a Ditto, copying Scyther. I used Swords Dance, then next turn I used slash...it only did 30 damage. I'd say it should do 60 damage due to swords dance.

I've seen that guy, and I don't know if it's an alt, but those two accounts do exist. I spend a lot of time on TCG playing a friend in classic format, so I thought they were just friends. I don't see the point in "cheating" on career since there's a mode that gives you all the cards anyway.

Did you register your game with Club Nintendo? I forget about cases where you don't register, but I believe signing up for CN gives your games a 6-month warranty. Perhaps you can get the game repaired that way? Same with your 2DS. Might not give you your save back, but at least you won't be out...

I'd say its easy to unlock the characters - in the 3DS version, I played a bunch of online and versus matches and got everyone that way.
