I'm still shocked seeing tiny Pokemon being represented by ex cards with 250 HP

Such a drastic difference in HP between the two Finizen. Usually the evolving basic with more utility has less HP, but this one has nearly half as much as its counterpart.

It seems so rare nowadays to even have ultra rares with multiple good attributes. If they just made Pelipper's attack cheaper and/or gave it some kind of beneficial component like card draw or a whirlwind type effect it could've been more interesting. Not that any of these would see play for any reason, but why put the "Find a Friend" type attack on the Stage 1, that most people will just Rare Candy over, instead of on the currently useless Basic. Disappointing line all around.

Probably not close to playable, but the Swim Freely archetype looks super fun

Path to the Peak exists in standard! Kinda crazy how easy to is to bypass the ability.

They probably did that so the price wouldn't be ridiculous.

So cool to see Gardevoir ex in this set. It's a card that has a special place in my heart since I got it from a pack my mom was holding on to for a few years after Dragon Frontiers went out of print. I have a few copies already, but more can never hurt, Imprison FTW

That Greninja looks like it's gonna be awesome. I just wish the attributes were scaled to the appropriate amount for the era. It would be cool if they could seamlessly blend into a collection or even deck featuring cards of similar style.
