Not a fan that they used the Sun and Moon card template for the regular cards.. but I’ll admit that the ex cards using the Sun and Moon template don’t look half bad.
I hope we get a 2.5D remake (similar to Octopath Traveler) of Pokemon Black and White or Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, as well as a Pokemon Legends-style game for either Black and White or Gold and Silver. Maybe a story that mixes both regions. That’d be great.
I’m glad that the regular full art Charizard ex will be sold as a promo in the West. I’m sure the illustrative rare will go for sky-high prices though.
Shiny Pikachu means shiny Raichu!! (Assuming it’s not shiny Pikachu ex). I’m just disappointed that we’re not getting the Kanto starters as shinies, other than Charmander. We have yet to see shiny Bulbasaur and shiny Squirtle as TCG.
Dang, seeing this Charizard probably means we won’t be getting regular shiny Charizard, which would have made Venusaur and Blastoise shinies from 151 much more likely. But who knows. Maybe Venusaur and Blastoise could still happen..
Interesting that the Alakazam ex card is different than the one in the Japanese 151. I guess the original will be in the set while this promo will be a bonus.. but it makes me wonder when this Alakazam ex will be released in Japan.
Does anyone genuinely like the Full Art cards? I don’t understand why they don’t just draw the Pokemon for Full Arts like they do the Trainer Full Arts. The CGI always looks cheap.
