I'm conflicted about this. On one hand, the problem with this kind of remake is that it won't probably fully capture the magic of the original material. Plus, I'm getting really tired of the franchise current obsession with 1st gen nostalgia. On the other hand... well, the original series...

The whole set looks underwhelming, but M Pidgeot and Starmie BREAK are particularly disappointing for me. Beedrill and Ninetales BREAK might find some use in rogue decks - I'm particularly interested in trying speed Beedrill. Starmie might be a good tech. Mewtwo can maybe be useful in M Mewtwo...

I think you should swap the energy switches for the Zoroark line; it's more reliable, plus you can get past special conditions (not that they are a big thing in Standard these days, but still). I'm not sure about the Altaria line. Even with Pressure and no weakness, Lugia BREAK has only 150HP...

I wouldn't say it's a necessity, but it makes Night March ever stronger than it already was. I've seen some TinaToad variants playing it too.

Latios-EX first attack can be used if you go first and deals 40 damage (50 with FFB, 60 with Muscle Band) with a single Psychic energy. Lugia-EX can hit almost as hard as Yveltal starting with a single DCE. (same goes for Mewtwo NXD, but that's for Expanded and Legacy only)

Plus it's always good to see Johto characters getting some love ;) Probably not. It makes decking out slower but it doesn't outright removes this condition. If you're referring to the vespi/plume matchup yeah, it seems harder to pull off, but if you go first there's still a chance of battle...

I think I saw Landorus a few times, but I don't think is common as TDK or Lugia decks. I've been playing Rayquaza/Eels/Keldeo these weeks and it's probably the best Legacy deck I have right now. Good matchup with Sableye/Darkrai, V-Create Victini helps against Safeguard and VirGen... its...
