It is a diverse format. There are plenty of viable decks and the decks play differently from each other. I understand you hate the power level of Standard, but some of the things you say just don't ring true at all, such as this or when you say Standard isn't skillful.
This is the kind of thing I've thought about for a while...abilities that need Energy attached to the Pokemon to activate. Neat. Lots of cool cards here!
I disagree to the utmost. I hate to see Pokemon or Pokemon forms completely forgotten when a new generation comes around. It feels wasteful, in a way.
Anyway, yeah...from a competitive perspective, most of the good cards are already revealed ones. Maybe Greninja will be good, though.
At first glance, these cards don't seem competitively good...but maybe that's kinda a good thing so we don't go into too much of a big basic format? Also, they could get more support I suppose.
One thing that confuses me is that these Ogerpons are apparently intended to be played in a deck...
They better not put these in any main set. Most of these cards are even worse than the Battle Academy cards that made it into Fusion Strike. At least some of the artwork is good, but I'm always happier when good artwork is on good cards, tbh!
In spite of myself, I'm kind of glad there's another Tera of one of the original types since it's more game-accurate to have a mix of different types and original types. But I hope most Teras are different types since the Tera mechanic in the TCG isn't too interesting otherwise.
And yeah, this...
Great! I hope we soon get Ice Rider Calyrex, Shadow Rider Calyrex, and Eternatus in baby form. And that they're actually somewhat good...or at least not completely boring.
Those are fake, sorry. If you find unusual art on TCG products, it's best to assume they're fake. The Rotom is just ripped from a Rotom V card (a different Rotom V art than the one in Crown Zenith!) and the Regieleki (which isn't even featured in Crown Zenith!) doesn't even look like official...
