In my opinion, Stage 2's should be in the same HP and Power category as EX pokemon. I think it's a farce how poor stage 2's are in general with the odd exceptions.

Don't see it making a big appearance at this stage. All the big decks do their energy acceleration without a need for smeargle. There will be a place for it in some decks but not any of the meta decks methinks

I reckon you don't need any other Pokemon in the deck other than a line of Shiftry. Go for that turn one win, get more supporters and items instead of other pokemon which are counter-intuitive to your main strategy.

So with the mighty Egg being rotated, we lose access to one of our favourite resource cards and Abilities in the game. I'm wondering what people are thinking of replacing it with in the next format? For example i'm wondering what to replace Exeggcute with in my Raichu list, it's so great for...

I would use dimension valley as the decks stadium as it allows mew to use attacks with one less colourless energy, making it easy to power up. Maybe consider a mewtwo ex as your own attacker if the attacks you are coming up against aren't very effective?

I knew I shouldn't have posted early in the morning... I was implying that you couldn't play hypnotoxic laser because of item lock - which he doesn't even mention, haha. Forget I said anything!!
