I really like alola grimer. Not a big change design wise but that's to be expected and actually preferable imo. Like the color scheme and the goofiness even.
Silvady looks really cool. Hoping is also good competitively and so far that seems to be the case with such a choice of an ability.
Not...
I know I'm late for the party but here are my impressions on the new creatures:
- Lugarugan looks pretty cool. I'm in love with the midday form but I like the Midnight as well. Simple but solid designs right there. Midday got a spot in my team now.
- UB beauty looks good but I much prefer UB...
All I'm going to say is that I need to see what these pokemon evolve into (bar wishiwashi which I'm sure is a standalone) to really have an opinion on them. Wishiwashi seems interesting tho. I like old raichu way more but this one certainly is cuter. Let's hope it'll be better in battle too.
My thoughts on the new pokemon:
- Mini bewear is cute but with the picture quality and pose I can't really tell just yet how much I like it. I will probably use if ingame tho since I like bewear so much.
- New fishy is cute (?) well, at least it's other form its quite menacing looking and...
Wow good catch! Guess I didn't pay much attention to that piece of art it seems. That pokeball looks really cool and I wish it was real but considering these riding pokemon are "rental" ones I suspect the pokeball is just related to that feature. I sure hope I'm wrong tho since it looks so cool :^)
Not sure if this is allowed but somebody posted this in another thread. Everything sounds cool but (if in fact true) point #8 sounds very exciting to me. The fact that pokemon from different regions (games?) could have certain differentiation withing the species is interesting to say the least...
I love the concept of pokemon changing forms according to the region and/or the environment. Vulpix and (especially) Ninetales have always been favorites for me (sandshrew and sandslash as well) but I gotta say I'm not a fan and truly prefer their regular forms. The typings however are really...
I like all pokemon revealed as well. From this batch my least favorite is wimpod, followed by comfey. I really love the horse and the little fruit is very cute as they tend to be. I like Bewear even more now, although I expected its mouth to be located within the white muzzle, not under it, and...
I really like the bear's design and I'm actually planning to use it on my play through. I'm a bit surprised to see the majority of the fandom seems to hate it. I like the other one too but not as much.
I may be in the minority here but I hated the coloring over the pokemon in BW while I like the way the poison box flashes in this game.
This generation of pokemon is quickly becoming my favorite as so far I'm liking every single pokemom we've got. This one in particular has become one of my...
I really hope vikavolt gets no guard as an ability so it can make better use of zap cannon. I wonder if the other "guardians" are getting abilities incorporating misty and grass terrain...
I totally love cutiefly and Dramba, hate charjabug and feel ok about the rest. I want to see some artwork to really know what some of these really look like. That could help me warm up a bit more to the electric type bugs.
EDIT: Just saw the artwork and yep, I love them all now.
I feel they should hire better writters that could create stories that are more appealing and interesting. Pokemon is full of possibilities with many of them being based on so many interesting legends and lores.
I particularly liked the first movie and the third, and to some extend I liked the...
Lol. I don't think it means that. It may just mean that Lugia and Ho-oh are going to be important to the story, or maybe it does not mean anything at all. We are just speculating after all ;-)
