Pretty sure the validity of pyroar came up in another deck thread but TLDR ~ the deck is pretty much dead with all these megas around. And even if you come across such a deck, you can just use vespiquen to knock it out :P. You shouldnt need weakness to hit 110. If fire becomes popular in 2016...

Flying is very under represented in the VG and pretty much a secondary type - basically every thing with Flying having Normal / or someother major type (Fire for talonflame etc). If there was going to be another type added (again) to the TCG it would be something more significant - Splitting...

Unless your cards exist outside the current metagame, that attack is not strong. Between being a stage 2 and the ability if it was printed in the next set it would see 0 play. Having said that it is interesting from a design perspective.

No Items stadiums or supporters of any kind. Only Pokemon and Energy - hence the usefulness of cool cards like Call Energy.

Checking the most recent rule book, Burn is still included but you cant argue with this spreadsheet. On further inspection this rule book also has rules for No Energy attacks. Rule book inclusion seems like useless evidence.

Theres been a few articles on shiftry that claim to be able to average 5 Giant Fans T1 on testing (Item draw engine speed through deck etc). So it seems like a legit deck. Loses hard to starting with several basics, Wobbu or Theta Stop though.
