After seeing this, I actually fiddled with it and ran it with a 2-2 Shedinja line and it works incredible. Saves you during the Malamar or Baby Blace matchups and even in regular matchups denies your opponent a prize while you take 2 or 3 of theirs.
You should be running Viridian Forest in this deck to search out the fighting energy. You can turn 1 Viridian or Shrine, then Green's for turn 2 for viridian or Shrine and you should be guaranteed to be set up (assuming you hit a welder on the turn you don't Green's).
Def a viable option. You should run the new tag switch as you could potentially hit for 200 on turn one if you were able to hit a welder, rainbow energy to a bench ReshiZard, then tag switch the rainbow to terrakion.
You could argue that fire maybe got "slower" due to losing search engines (but almost all decks did) but I wouldn't say weaker. ReshiZard still hits 230 turn 2 with moderate ease
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of multiple stage 2 lines in a deck because you need so many things to go right to set up in a day and age where basic GXs are so powerful but I see the allure of Meganium and Nidoqueens ability. I would drop the Ninetales line and try to add more consistency to...
Yeah I see where your coming from but it's a case by case basis on the the deck. Most electric decks dont need to tech against it because they run Zapdos, stall decks wont care much anyway, and if you play any variant of fire you *might* run volcanion already so while yeah it could cause a...
I think you might be getting a little too hyped on Alolan Persian too quickly. Yes it has a great ability, but most decks run cards that can take care of it, and if they dont it's easy to tech against by running a Power Plant in your deck. That being said, I can see a Persian/Malamar deck...
IMO, I think he would be better off just candying from a fossil since he's going to need as much help as possible to get Tyrantum's damage up so Dojo would be more helpful.
Ah I know its frustrating to want to play your favorite pokemon so bad even if it won't be necessarily good at the moment. The thing that really hurts Tyrantum is we are about to lose the good search engine that would really help get him out fast, but I imagine if you were dead at on playing him...
I expect Zapdos and friends to see some play, possibly with adding in Alolan Raichu & Raichu GX Tag Team, as it still has a lot of decent cards to help it
ReshiZard being how popular it is and still having a lot of fire tech cards will still see play.
Malamar will remain popular, probably more...
