Just a small correction, having Mega Gardevoir evolve from stage2 Gardevoir wouldn’t necessarily make it a Stage 3. It could just be called “Mega”, the way they did in 2016 - and not calling them “Stage 1” evolutions. It’d work just like Break Pokemon worked back then and I honestly would have...
Nice one. Hopefully they print more attacks that can benefit from this card.
atm, it's not worth playing. I can only think of these cards: R Greninja, Pawmot PAF, Garchomp ex, Ampharos ex, Iron Boulder ex.
Sorry, I meant to say they changed “this Pokémon can’t use this attack during your next turn” to “this Pokémon can’t use this attack until it leaves the active spot”. I think it’s a good change to make things a bit more clear.
Why did they change the wording from “This Pokémon can’t use Exploding Flare during your next turn” to “This Pokémon can’t use Exploding Flare again until it leaves the Active Spot”? Are they trying to make the out-of-active-spot rules more clear?
I’m pretty sure the idea is to use weakness to your advantage, so you can evolve to Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon depending on your opponents active. Not saying it’s a good deck, just thinking 180 damage is ok in this case.
