I've been diving here in an out over the past decade or so ever since the Noble Victories days, but as a fellow old-timer that grew up in the days of PokeMania-seeing the US premiere the anime with the SS Anne two parter on UPN for some reason, watching The First Movie when it released at his...
Personally speaking, while I do like we are getting more PokeBall variants as tins I kinda wish they would do more themed Deck Boxes with them- so far we have the Main 4(2 PokeBalls, Great, Ultra and Master) and that ensemble with various Balls scattered on a Box. But I'd like to see more...
I'm getting my 4th Cleffa for my WIP Steelix deck now, so I dig it. It's probably the most iconic Neo era card too(Slowking and Sneasel being runner ups) so I....may or may not have screamed from seeing it here.
IMO the only flaw with the US 25th logo is that it's basically a reuse of the 20th anniversary one. However from an aesthetic point of view it makes sense to use it since Pikachu the mascot is Pokemon #25, so if anything the 20th logo should have been different(maybe a PokeBall?)
No, as far as we know they are not considerd Basic or Evolution cards but a different category. The only real searchers that work are cards that mill parts like Battle Compressor or Prof. Burnett.
So HOPTs to tone down Bench stacking and promote deck diversity.
Fascinating, though I do wonder if the trend of F.O.O. strategies emerging from when the Rebalanced BJK enters the testing stage is inevitable. After all looking at the WotC guide for the Team Rocket set Wizards had a vastly...
HCTR getting the spot over Rocket's Sneak Attack or Dark Vileplume is kinda odd. Though I guess being the first ever Holo Trainer card could be why.
I wonder if other cards might turn up such as Erikia's Jigglypuff, NG Pichu, Greninja BREAK, Tropical Beach or the Fossil Ditto.
What many need to remember with these V Battle decks is that they are intentionally designed to be entry level decks for Beginners, and this has been a constant with such decks going as far back as the old Base Set Machamp deck which was also made for beginner level.
The League Battle Decks and...
1. Yup. It should be paired whith the hypothetical "F" cards of 2022.
2.just looked through my Inteleon deck to confirm, but it looks like the supermajority of cards will be "D" which means they might not make it without reprints(like how Marnie is getting a rerelease of her cards in a special...
Ahh, one of the vintage fake cards of my day. Back in the fun times when you can tell the phonies just by holding the card up to the sunlight.
Needless to say they were....never rarely that authentically made compared to real ones then hahahaha.
One big deal is that Fairy Type got retired meaning there has been a pretty big overhaul to the Typing charts(all Fairies now use Psychic Energies, all Poison now use Dark Energy, the majority of Dark these days are weak to Grass) so that's something to prep for(same for me since I'm back from a...
So in this alt format VMAX would essentially be ACE-SPEC cards?
You know, I honestly thought this was the route PokeComp would have taken with bringing Dyna/Gigantomax to the TCG since that mechanic had a "once per match" restriction itself, doubly so since that was how they translated...
