Teal Mask Ogerpon Promo Uniquely Features Glitter Layer!

Not quite what I meant when I said Ogrepon deserved better, but I'll take it. The artwork is so gorgeous that the fact it is unplayably weak should be a crime.

“Night Wanderer” TCG Set Officially Revealed Featuring Pecharunt ex and The Loyal Three!

The Stadium really needed some kind of bump protection to justify the inability to recycle it. But I'm interested to see if they'll explore the space of Ace Spec Stadiums further. There seems to be quite a lot of Stadium search lately, yet not much worth searching for. Pecharunt and the loyal...

Market Analysis: Most Valuable Cards from “Mask of Change!” Dragapult ex?

Thanks for the info! I also checked recently and an Ogrepon Sinistcha got 2nd at a City League the other day, so maybe with some more experimentation and refinement, an OgreGrass deck might start to find a place in the meta. One tech that I thought was really clever is Wyrdeer, since you've...

Market Analysis: Most Valuable Cards from “Mask of Change!” Dragapult ex?

Nah man, Toedscruel ex with Teal Mask Ogrepon or bust! Funnily enough, Toedscruel ex is another way to protect your bench from Dragapult's attack as long as you've got a way to put energies onto your bench. A lot of grass cards are ironically a better counter to Dragapult than they are to Zard.

Market Analysis: Most Valuable Cards from “Mask of Change!” Dragapult ex?

The stage 1 (Drakloak) has an ability that looks at the top 2 cards of your deck and puts 1 in hand, the other at the bottom of your deck. Having a middle evolution that gives you free cards improves consistency and lessens the need for Rare Candy. 320HP with no weakness makes it fairly tanky...

Market Analysis: Most Valuable Cards from “Mask of Change!” Dragapult ex?

Oof! Rest in Binder my dear Ogreflop. You deserved to be better.

All 101 “Mask of Change” Main Set Cards Revealed!

Miraidon ex is a very strange comparison for Teal Mask Ogrepon ex. Miraidon is a setup card that gets Pokemon out of your deck. The closest Ogrepon comes to doing that is that it . . .draws a card? I think a better comparison would be to Galarian Moltres V. One attaches energy from discard pile...

Jamming Tower Revealed from “Mask of Change!”

Oh wow! This is gonna definitely be pretty impactful on the meta. Nearly every meta deck utilizes some kind of Tool card. FSS, TMs (Evolution, Devolution, and Crisis Punch), Defiance Band, Heavy Baton Pass, Bravery Charm and Luxurious Cape, Rescue Board, Ancient and Future Capsules, and the...

Sunkern, Sunflora from “Mask of Change”

Dipplin's full damage is 200 without modifiers, isn't it? (20 per each of your bench Pokemon, and attacks twice if the stadium is in play) Realistically, once you've got Thwackey set up, you should be searching enough cards per turn that you can use Kieran as your Supporter and attach a...

Sunkern, Sunflora from “Mask of Change”

I kinda wish that Sunflora could escape the curse of being forever packfiller. So we've seen 13 of the likely 16 Grass cards from this set (we still need numbers 1-3 Meganium Copium!!). How are we feeling so far? I think Festival might end up being an viable rogue deck, but I'm really shaky...

Tera Dragapult ex, Palafin ex, Legacy Energy ACE SPEC from “Mask of Change” Revealed!

Forget that the actual attacks of the Festival Pokemon aren't great and the Stadium might as well be vanilla, that Thwackey is CRACKED!! 100 HP stage 1 Pidgeot ex!? Except Pidgeot ex is a hard once per turn and this isn't?! Somebody smarter than me HAS to be able to craft something playable...

Feebas and Milotic from “Mask of Change!”

I don't think this is gonna happen, but this and a lot of the cards designed for Grass recently would start to make a lot more sense if we got some kind of Scoop Up Stadium that allowed you to once per turn, bounce one of your benched Grass pokemon back to hand. Volbeat and Illumise can do...

Feebas and Milotic from “Mask of Change!”

Alongside this and the Toedscruel that prevents the opponent from adding cards from their discard pile to hand, we just need a Stage 1 fire type pokemon that prevents the opponent from adding cards from their deck to their hand and we'll have the ultimate anti-search squad.

Feebas and Milotic from “Mask of Change!”

Alternatively, it can be used IN Snorlax Control to prevent players from using Turo/Penny to free their trapped Pokemon.

Volbeat, Illumise from “Mask of Change”

Volbeat's attack to search out 2 Pokemon isn't restricted to only going first. If you don't go first, it is pretty much just a worse Basculin (which is an okay 1-of in decks that want to see their basic rulesbox Pokemon as quickly as possible). But being able to use the attack when going first...
