The Collector's Showcase: Post Pictures of Any Type of Pokémon Collection!

RE: Collector's Showcase - Please try to post a picture! Condition isn't very important. It would only affect the value if it was very significant wear. I wouldn't have paid more for PSA10 or less for PSA8.

RE: Collector's Showcase - Please try to post a picture! No really, just a minimum wage job. But I budget well.

Daelum, if you want help doing stuff like that, drop me a message here, the Gym or UPCCC. After Worlds I'd be interested in helping put spreadsheets and such together.

How many versions of the Base Set Pikachu 58/102 (incl. reprints) are there?

Which card have you seen for real? The snap tournament prize? I doubt you have. You've probably seen the snap promo that was released via Coro Coro or something similar.

    Card Errors Database (Include Images!)

RE: New Errors and Misprints Thread >New Rule: Please Provide a Picture When Sharing a Possible Fake or Misprint. That isn't an error card, it was a decoration made deliberately by WotC for the STS tournaments, the back is 4 more cards rather than a traditional back.

    Shadowless Base set

Yellow cheeked E3 cards are worth no more than $10, so you didn't lose out too badly when it got traded.

The Collector's Showcase: Post Pictures of Any Type of Pokémon Collection!

RE: Collector's Showcase - Please try to post a picture! The Illustrator is not the only difficult Pikachu card to get. You also have Number 1, 2 and 3 Trainers from 1997, 1998, 1999, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and they're still going. Also the Snap prize card Pikachu, and...

Is a Promo worth anything except your own use?

A common from a POP set is still only worth a few cents. The only cards that are worth a lot are the rares and ultra rares (Stars, exs etc.)

How many versions of the Base Set Pikachu 58/102 (incl. reprints) are there?

Daelum, right now I would still class that as an unconfirmed sale. I have no reason to doubt the guy, but I would still like some proof that they own the card.

The Collector's Showcase: Post Pictures of Any Type of Pokémon Collection!

RE: Collector's Showcase - Please try to post a picture! I'd back up Daelum, people who collect any language other than English or Japanese are in the extreme minority. Although Korean cards are slightly gaining popularity right now.

Collecting "How Much is This Card Worth?" / "Is This a Good Trade?"

RE: The ''How much is a card worth?'' topic. They aren't really. You might actually say that they're two different ways to say exactly the same thing.

There's a Jumbo version of the Base card too. To add info about the Snap contest one, as far as I know only one copy ever sold, and it went for £11,000 (which at the time was around $22,000)
