Those who are still mourning the loss of Enhanced Hammer have finally had their cries answered.

In the actual ScaVio game, you see Great Tusks/Iron Treads LONG before you see any of the other paradox mons. So it is actually rather fitting that they show up in the base set.

Gust up a helpless Pokémon from your opponent’s hand to their active and looking cute as heck while doing it.

Pokémon that had gusting effect stapled on them used to be really good back when Catcher and Boss just didn’t exist. But the toothpaste’s out of the tube.

That Clefairy sure likes to imitate Kirlia. Now, all it needs it an actually decent Clefable, so it can wreak havoc. The Clefable it gets in this set is… not it. A Gust effect on a Pokémon used to be more relevant… back in 2008 and 2009, when there was no Pokémon Reversal, or Pokémon Catcher...

Quite the departure from its usual Item-locking or Status-spreading antics. And not as useful as any of those, sadly.
