Anyone else think that they're on track for releasing the entire generation before November 18th? I like the new stuff they're posting but I don't think I want the whole Alola Pokedex released before the game is.
Were they doing this much in terms of releases before X & Y? I don't remember. Did...
Imo, Surf wasn't a wonderful way to showcase Instruct. I get they were trying to show the synergy between Instruct and Telepathy, but my biggest question is this:
Does a move triggered by Instruct target the same Pokémon twice? Or am I able to Fake Out/Knock Off two Pokémon in a single turn?
In my build of Omadactyl, I run a 2-count of Shuckle (Fates Collide). His Hide A Berry attack is both early game draw support and a way to get Aerodactyl out of your hand in case you have one stuck, AND it sets you up for a potential Old Amber on your next turn (assuming you aren't N'd)
I'd argue that the solution to a lack of space wouldn't be throwing in more cards. Hawlucha and Lysandre were mentioned so that one might be able to end Jirachi's walling effect, not so that one could simply stop it from happening next turn. Hawlucha and Lysandre would be a much more viable...
To add those two Mega Evolutions into Primal Clash would have made it a set with SIX Pokémon-EX :p you're both right in saying that they would have fit better into Double Crisis.
I'm not entirely sure. You have to have some reason to play them. I think TPCI is keeping that in mind, what with both of the non-EX Pokémon not being very special.
Azumarill hits Fire- and Dragon-types for Weakness. Neither of these types are super prevalent in the meta game as of now...
So I've recently begun to create new covers for alternate Core Series video games that haven't been actually released. The greatest tool available to me is a fairly novice understanding of PhotoShop, but I'd say that these turned out pretty well considering. Feedback and constructive criticism...
I forget who it was but someone on the Jigglypuff thread mentioned the all-colorless attack costs. Although Wigglytuff is clearly a filler card, I wonder if this will be a continuing trend in Fairy-type Pokémon of the set. Or, perhaps it's setting the stage for an overpowered BREAK. Either way...
Actually, that's not exactly right. Rules on devolution are similar to rules on evolution. A Pokémon has to be in play for a full turn before it's capable of evolving. So the opponent needs to wait until the turn after the turn after you devolve their Pokémon before they can evolve it again...
