Finally reveals of new cards! But I think, they're no options for ARs after the Raboot AR in Stellar Crown and Inteleon AR now in Mega Symphonia.

This could work in Joltik box. Can help charge bench, has good hp and can take out cards like budew early game. Though you'd still need luck to pull it.

huh, CES manectric if it was actually good. potentially worthwhile in some decks that like having energy on board like toedscruel or raging bolt but the specificity does make it a dubious prospect to where i don't think it'll see thaaaat much play. and obv you don't want it in decks that already have accel from attacks like joltik & flareon or self-accel like grimmsnarl. could also be a route in some pult lists if you open it as a tech to charge a pult & munkidori, but meh.

Cards like this have seen play in the past like Talonflame and Luxray but those were able to search out either any two cards or any two trainers which felt way stronger than three energies in the early game. But that was also a different time so idk.

This card feels kind of meh imo, at least until we find out what future cards we're getting. I don't think any meta archetypes really need this type of early energy acceleration except for Joltik Box and maybe Flareon, and those don't really have any trouble with energies that they would need to dedicate deck space to it.

Does anyone know if there's anything out there that can really abuse three energies early on besides Hands?

I think the idea was to give set up to any of the stellar teras, but anything using turbo energize could probably play this too.

If anything the Inteleon might make it more likely! Inteleon is in Mega Symphonia, so it might make sense that Cinderace gets an AR in Mega Brave to parallel that

Usually these “start of game” stage 2s are bad because they search out cards which can easily be Iono’d, negating 4 deck space and a turn. This seems actually workable since it’s fast energy acceleration. I’m totally gonna be testing this with Cinderace ex and Reshiram ex lol

To temper expectations a bit, the odds of starting one if you play 4 is about 50%. That’s 4 slots in a deck that could be devoted to tech cards or options. 50 damage isn’t enough to KO most evolving basics. Most decks have ways to generally get all the energy they need turn by turn to make the plays needed or wanted.

That said, 2x Victini can push the damage to 70. Would it be worth it if the current top decks stay good in the new meta? Between Munkidori shenanigans and general spread, the strong start could backfire (pun intended). But it could be an incredible way to set up Mega Evolution Pokémon early.
