If you're confused, I just couldn't bring myself to slap my opponent with a pretty reliable T1 Item lock, so it was silly to try and run the deck. I don't care if people think it is silly to run decks using it now that it has been nerfed. Well, I don't care much, anyway.
Archeops was unexpected but I have used and faced that one and it does tend to feel pretty cheap.
Yes, there are counters for both of these, but it isn't a question of whether something can be countered, but can it be effectively countered without feeling like a chore. Since, ya know, this is supposed to be a fun game.
