Latios-GX, Dragonite, Blue’s Strategy, Cherish Ball, and ‘Miracle Twins’ Products!

Latios-GX, Dragonite, and Blue’s Strategy have been revealed from SM11 Miracle Twins! The set will release in Japan on May 31st and will then become part of our Unified Minds set in August. Thanks goes to Jake C., Arantxa T., and Tunu for the translations!

Latios-GX – Psychic – HP170
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Power Bind
If you have 4 or less Pokemon in play, this Pokemon can’t attack.

[P][C][C] Tag Purge: 120 damage. During your opponent’s next turn, this Pokemon can’t be damaged by attacks from Tag Team Pokemon.

[P] Clear Vision GX: Until the end of the game, your opponent can’t use a GX attack. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Dragonite – Dragon – HP160
Stage 2 – Evolves from Dragonair

Ability: Hurricane Charge
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may attach a [W] Energy and a [L] Energy from your hand to your Pokemon in any way you like.

[W][L][C][C] Dragon Impact: 170 damage. Discard 3 Energy from this Pokemon.

Weakness: Fairy (x2)
Resistance: none

Blue’s Strategy – Trainer

When this turn is over, draw cards from your deck until you have 8 cards in your hand.

You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

(Note that this card is named “Green’s Strategy” in Japan but will be renamed to “Blue’s Strategy” in America.)


Terrakion – Fighting – HP140
Basic Pokemon

[F][C][C] Cave King: 50+ damage. If all of your Benched Pokemon have damage counters on them, this attack does 150 more damage.

[F][F][C][C] Rock Smash: 110 damage.

As usual, Pokemon Center stores will be selling a package that comes with two booster boxes of the set, a special deck box, and card sleeves. For Miracle Twins, the products will feature Lance and his Dragonite.

 

A new Cherish Ball card from the Espeon & Deoxys-GX deck was also revealed, as were clear images of Jirachi-GX and Weavile-GX.

[P][P][P] Star Shield GX: 100 damage. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokemon during your opponent’s next turn. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weavile-GX – Darkness – HP200
Stage 1 – Evolves from Sneasel

Ability: Shadow Connection
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may move a basic [D] Energy from 1 of your Pokemon in play to another 1 of your Pokemon in play.

[D][D][C] Claw Slash: 130 damage.

[C] Night Order GX: Search your deck for any number of Basic Pokemon and put them on your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

The contents of both decks were shown. The Espeon & Deoxys-GX deck will come with a Tapu Lele-GX and a new Cresselia.

Also releasing on May 31st alongside SM11 are Aerodactly card sleeves and a leather Mewtwo double deck box for 3,000 yen.
