Images of Mega Sableye & Tyranitar-GX, Psyduck & Slowpoke-GX, Jirachi-GX, Weavile-GX!

We finally have images of CoroCoro magazine thanks to a staff member from Japan, confirming the card text for the Pokemon-GX we’ve been talking about for the past few days!

These two Tag Team cards will debut in SM11 Miracle Twins on May 31st. The cards will become part of our Unified Minds set in August.

Mega Sableye & Tyranitar-GX – Darkness – HP280
Basic Pokemon (TAG TEAM)

[D][D][D][D][C] Greed Crash: 210 damage. If your opponent’s Active Pokemon is a Pokemon-GX or Pokemon-EX and is Knocked Out by damage from this attack, take 1 more Prize card.

[D][D][D][D][C]+ Gigafall GX: 250 damage. If you have 5 additional Energy attached to this Pokemon (in addition to this attack’s cost), discard 15 cards from the top of your opponent’s deck. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Weakness: Fighting (x2)
Resistance: Psychic (-2)
Retreat: 4

Psyduck & Slowpoke-GX – Water – HP250
Basic Pokemon (TAG TEAM)

[W][W] Tossing Splash: 40x damage. Discard any number of Supporter cards from your hand. This attack does 40 damage for each card discarded in this way.

[W][W]+ Excitement Time GX: 10+ damage. Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 100 more damage. If you have at least 6 extra Energy attached to this Pokemon (in addition to this attack’s cost), flip 10 coins instead, and do 100 more damage for each heads.

When your TAG TEAM is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 3 Prize cards.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

Mega Sableye’s name is spelled out in full, so it’s not treated as a Mega Evolution Pokemon like the original mechanic from the XY era. This will be the first time we’ve seen a Mega Evolution in the TCG since 2016’s Evolutions.

Slowpoke & Psyduck-GX will be the first Tag Team card that features two unevolved Pokemon.

As posted before, Jirachi-GX and Weavile-GX will come from the Espeon & Deoxys and Umbreon & Darkrai Tag Team decks. They will also release in Japan on May 31st.

Jirachi-GX – Psychic – HP160
Basic Pokemon

Ability: Psychic Zone
If a Pokemon with a [P] Weakness receives damage from an attack, don’t apply Weakness.

[P] Star Search: Search your deck for an Energy card and attach it to 1 of your [P] Pokemon. Then, shuffle your deck.

[P][P][P] Star Shield GX: 100 damage. Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to this Pokemon during your opponent’s next turn. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)

When your Pokemon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Weakness: Psychic (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 1

Weavile-GX – Darkness – HP200
Stage 1 – Evolves from Sneasel

Ability: Shadow Connection
As often as you like during your turn (before your attack), you may move a basic [D] Energy from 1 of your Pokemon in play to another 1 of your Pokemon in play.

[D][D][C] Claw Slash: 130 damage.

[C] Night Order GX: Search your deck for any number of Basic Pokemon and put them on your Bench. Then, shuffle your deck. (You can’t use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
