‘Detective Pikachu’ Mini-Set Leaks, Translations! By: Water Pokémon Master Posted 2 years ago to TCG 29 comments Much of the Detective Pikachu mini-set has leaked ahead of its March 29th release date! Our friends at Pokecardex, a French fansite, have posted photos they were able to obtain from an anonymous source. The cards are in French. We are unsure how the cards made their way into someone’s hands, but they leaked somewhere in the United States. This wouldn’t be the first time foreign-language cards have leaked from Pokemon’s printing factories here (which is how I assume it happened). Pokemon prints some of its foreign language cards in America, then ships them out. To recap: the Detective Pikachu mini-set will feature 26 cards in America and 24 cards in Japan (before secret rares). Each booster pack will contain four cards. The entire set will be holographic. The booster packs are only available through Detective Pikachu promo products, which will release starting April 5th in the U.S. and March 29th in some countries. Although Pokemon indicated the set will feature 26 cards, the card numbers show the set has 18 cards. Apparently there will be eight more secret rare cards? Thanks goes to our article writer Stephane Ivanoff for translating the cards from French! #1 Bulbasaur – Grass – HP60 Basic Pokemon [G] Find a Friend: Search your deck for a [G] Pokemon, reveal it, and put it into your hand. REAL ART MR MIME WHERE ARE YOU I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN EVENTUALLY! In fact, Mr. Mime is the only ‘mon really standing out here. Arcanine is the ultimate spread counter. Edit: HOLY CRAP THAT ARCANINE LOOKS TOO CREEPY TO BE PLAYABLE
The set itself will not contain 26 cards. It is simply stated that there will be 26 new cards based off the movie. So this would include the promo cards alongside the cards from the set .
None of these really stand out to me as good. Although I assume all the art is going to be the looks from the movie?
I can't see the images either. It's killing me because I really want to see how beautiful (or scary) the arts are.
AHA!!! The secrets are revealed! I love these card arts. But those names... Bulbizarre! Spododo! Psykokwak! Rondoudou!
Mr. Mime should totally have an attack called Shove It. Also, is that Bulbasaur from Crazy Frog or what
That Psyduck looks exactly like me in the morning after drinking three or four beers the other night (yeah, I'm 30.. Getting old)
Mr. Mime seems pretty cool. It also gives use to fhe Eye Opener Poipole lol. While I love that this makes from-the-prize cards effects easier, it also takes up a lot of space. I dont think itll be too good.
I'm excited for Slaking to be in this movie! I guess I should have seen this coming, but I'm also kinda sad there's so "few" Pokemon. I'm just greedy and want to see all 800+ Pokemon in CGI haha.
Partial only Bulbasaur - Elmable Morelull - Who cares? Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard - Garbage! 2/2/2 Arcanine - Good ability but 120 HP sucks! 3 Geodudes Psyduck - not good Psyduck Magikarp - trash! Mr. Mime - It's an Azelf not Rotom so that would be nuts with Jirachi and Magcargo. 4 Geodudes Machamp - Rubbish! 2 Geodudes Jigglypuff - no 60 HP Snubbull - no 60 HP so that Granbull decks will run Elm Lickitung - nothing to special. Slaking - Ehhxpensive Stage 2. 2 Geodudes
