‘Sky Legends,’ ‘GG End’ Teaser Info — Articuno, Zapdos, & Moltres Tag Team-GX!

We now have the first teaser information for GG End and Sky Legends! Both mini-sets will release in Japan this April.

Sky Legends

Last month I said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if we get Tag Team cards of the birds like the original Articuno, Moltres, & Zapdos jumbo card?” Well now we are!

Sky Legends will feature the first Tag Team Pokemon-GX with three Pokemon on one card — Articuno, Zapdos, & Moltres-GX! All three Pokemon are Flying-type, plus the set is named Sky Legends, so it’s likely their GX will be Colorless like the original promo. Maybe we’ll even get a jumbo version of the card in a box at some point?

The original jumbo card wasn’t legal, so they gave it an “impossibly strong” attack since they knew the card would never be used in a real game. What’s funny is that now, the attack might actually work in our modern game. I wonder if they’ll pay homage to it? Big Bang GX?

Sky Legends will also feature Lusamine, Lillie, and Gladion as regular holo Supporter cards. They will likely feature new artwork.

A new Supporter card will also appear in the set — “Jessie & James!” No other details are known about their card at this time. Perhaps when this set is released in America, they’ll also give us some of the cards from 2017’s Ash vs. Team Rocket deck?

As posted before, Sky Legends will feature 54 cards and release on April 26th.

GG End

As expected, GG End will feature a Dragon-type Garchomp & Giratina-GX.

The set will also feature a new card that’s dedicated to enhancing Tag Team Pokemon. No other details are known about it at this time.

GG End and will release on April 5th and feature 54 cards.

Double Blaze

We are still awaiting the teaser info for SM10 Double Blaze, which releases before both sets on March 1st.
