Suicune-GX, Lugia-GX, Blacephalon-GX from ‘Lost Thunder’

The English versions of Blacephalon-GX (#52), Suicune-GX (#60), and Lugia-GX (#159) from Lost Thunder have been revealed! (Zeraora-GX and Thunder Mountain Prism Star were previously revealed, but I’ve included them for completeness.)

Pelagic: “Relating to or occurring or living in or frequenting the open ocean.”

Lost Thunder will hit store shelves on November 2nd. It will be the largest set in the game’s history with over 210 cards coming from three Japanese sets — SM7a Thunderclap Spark, SM7b Fairy Rise, and SM8 Explosive Impact.

The set’s prereleases will take place from October 20th to October 28th. The prerelease promos were previously revealed here.

You can see all of the set’s product images in this news story.

Well I learned a new word today. Interesting that they would change the name so much but I suppose Pelagic blade does have a nice ring to it

214 cards not counting secret rares. Whoever completes this master set, hats off to you.

This is gonna be a fun set to collect, so many playable GXes already on there and there's still more to come. Just happy to finally see that Suicune GX. :)

These are awesome especially Lugia attack as I knew it wouldn’t be wadatsumi. I wanna see when TPCi make a Alolan Persian and Alolan sandslash GX and Alolan raichu GX

I am very much looking forward to this set. It opens the meta up so much, while also giving Zoroark-GX some of his strength back. It is definitely a toss up though between this set and our February set. Looking forward to that baby zoro for a while now as well as the dark Incineroar-GX, Black Market PS, and a few others.

Discard fire energies, get them back with Naganadel, banish with Blacephalon for 1HKOs. Sounds fun!

You don't actually need Max Potions — Simply using it's ability and Brooklet Hill is enough!

Not sure what other attacker to partner it up with yet, but you're probably right. That's nice deck btw!

Stoked for this set because the current meta just doesn't feel great to me (I *do* like the variety of archetypes we see, but I still don't enjoy the format itself)... But NOT stoked for a 200+ card set that will have awful pull rates due to its size and will drive up the price of competitive cards significantly.

BIIIIG fan of Lugia GX. Definitely going to try that thing out. Also, nobody's talking about how nice the art on it is, so I thought I'd mention it.
