Pikachu Funko Pop! Releasing in July

Funko has announced the first ever Pokemon Pop! figure will be arriving July 29th — Pikachu! It will be available exclusively at Target stores for $8.99.

Pop! are collectible vinyl figures. They feature a hyper-stylized design and usually have solid-colored eyes.

The company that makes them, Funko, has partnered with many different media franchises to turn their characters into the figures. This includes Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and Game of Thrones. Over the past few months rumors had been circulating that Funko struck a deal with TPCi.

It is currently unknown if additional Pokemon or human Pokemon characters will be turned into Pop! figures.
