Alolan Meowth, Alolan Marowak, and New Pokemon Revealed in ‘CoroCoro!’
CoroCoro has leaked early, revealing new Pokemon, new Alolan formes, and the villainous team!
The small fish is Yowashi. When a bunch of Yowashi gather together, they “become” the larger fish.
Sunabaa and Shirodesuna are the sand castles, both Ghost/Ground. Sunabaa is a combination of “sand” and “boo.” “Shirodesuna” means “that’s a castle” in Japanese. Shirodesuna is a spirit that has possessed the sand. It sucks Pokemon into the sand to absorb their energy.
The Bewear pre-evolution is named Nuikoguma and it’s Normal/Fighting like its evolution. Its name is a combination of “plush” and “cub.”
Alolan Meowth is Dark-type while Alolan Marowak is Fire/Ghost. (Did the spirit of Cubone’s mother go to… never mind.) Alolan Meowth developed after being bred by a royal Alolan family. Marowak became Alolan Marowak to fight its “arch nemesis.”
Sun and Moon‘s villainous team is named Team Skull and its leader is Guzuma. The girl next to him is Purumeri.
