Hello there, PokéBeach. This is part seven of a series of Portal Posts called the Weekly TCG Updates. The point of this series is to get players informed of Pokémon TCG related news as well as to promote general competitive discussion. In these Monday evening posts, you will also be informed of any news that will affect the TCG section of the forums. With all of the site reform lately, we haven't been able to get Weekly TCG Updates up, but expect to see more Weekly Updates in the near future.

• We still need TCG articles! Please PM [smod]Vulpix Yolk[/smod] if you are interested in writing any sort of article for the Forum Portal. This could be anything from Regionals reports, to Metagame Deck Center articles. PM me any ideas that you may have, the sky is the limit here.
• The Grains of Sand project has been discontinued for the time being.

With Pokémon Autumn Regional Championships now over, we have a decent idea of what decks are doing well in the current TCG format. What cards or decks do you feel did surprising well? What cards or decks failed to meet your expectations? What surprised you? How do you think the format will change by the time City Championships come around? Summarize your Regional Championships experience.
