Fun Pokeball Fails

I was wondering if some people could share their Pokeball fails such as using the Masterball wrong, an elusive catch, or a Pokemon that just keeps escaping!
Here are some of mine:
I once used a Masterball in XY.... on a Goomy. RIP
I wasted about 42000 Pokemon Money on Ultra balls and used all of them on a sleeping, 1 hp Tapu Koko. It escaped every time. I had one Ultra Ball left and was triggered and decided to use a regular Pokeball. It caught it first try. I rage quit right after.

When I was a little kid back when Ruby and Sapphire came out I surfed on route 129 I encountered a Wailord (1% chance)
At the time I did not know what the * that thing was and because it was so big I was so shocked I threw my Master Ball at him.

Later realising how stupid I was.

I was playing Alpha Sapphire and got to the Deoxys. Threw my 8 ultra balls at it and a nest ball. It escaped all of them. One time then I got it to like 6/100 of it's health and it was paralyzed and it escaped my Ultra Ball.
