XY Kalos Dex (complete)

Mitja, you forgot to add Swirlix and Spritzees evos.

I did a tally chart of all the Pokémon in the Pokédex and here is what I came up with:

As far as I'm aware.

19 Coastal (Probably) is Goomy.
Flabébés evolution is Floette.

Binacle and Goomy can evolve.
Clefki is 050 in the Mountain dex.

been updating the list bit by bit so far.

Central is missing just one now. Coastal is pretty full too. Just the ending of Mountain remains, which definitely is where all the legends will be. And Noivern too it seems.

Why would ALL of the legendaries be in the Mountainous part? In the other games the Legendaries were all over the region. I personally think after 150 in each dex is where the Legendaries go. Maybe 5 in each.

There are 88 spaces left total in the Kalos dex's if the total in each dex is 150 each.
Now, let's take away the Pokémon that have already been confirmed, but don't have a number revealed yet:

Noivern
Xerneas
Yveltal

That leaves us with 85.
Plus...
Previous gen Pokémon seen in trailers, pictures ect... but not numbered in the dex(Assuming they're in the games):

Jigglypuff
Dratini
Gligar
Weavile
Tyranitar
Salamence
Staraptor
Rampardos
Audino
Palpitoad
Zoroark
Hydreigon

Including their evos/prevos, the number of spaces left is 55. The total number of new Pokémon revealed so far is 64 and we still don't know much about most legendaries of the region, so all or a good chunk of the 55 remaining Pokémon could be 6th gen. That being said, the total number of new Pokémon there can be is 119.


I find it interesting that Aerodactyl is in XY, so does that mean there's going to be a fossil from each generation in the game?

That's like saying the starters shouldn't be in just one either.

Just imagine the Kalos-dex is 001-450. Central->Coastal->Mountain. The legends have always been in the last dozen spots.

Its not like the legends are all gonna be found in the mountainous part of the actual region.

Really, really hope Ditto will be catchable in XY so we don't have to wait til late december to be able to breed :/

You always get the starters at the beginning of the game. You start in Central, so you get them there. so they're added there.
All Legendaries in one places however, makes no sense, because that's never happened before.

Noibat/Noivern finally have a number (113/114 Mountain Kalos)

Still no confirmation about Florges' type, but I bet it gains the Grass type in the final stage, because its not jsut something it holds anymore like the previous stages.


Current status:
405 of the 450(150+150+150) spots have been leaked.

45 to go. At least 4 of these will be more legendaries. Altho I bet its at least 6.
That leaves 39, of which any number might be more old pokemon.

Out of the 405 leaked so far, 68 are new Pokemon.

Also, there is surely going to be at least a bunch of new event-legends in the natdex. And also the possibility for post-game evolutions to old pokemon like in DP.

1 Unknown (Could be Ditto or Audino)

Coastal has:
36 Pokémon from Generation 1
22 Pokémon from Generation 2
25 Pokémon from Generation 3
14 Pokémon from Generation 4
23 Pokémon from Generation 5
18 Pokémon from Generation 6
12 Unknown (I think a Hoenn fossil and maybe a Unova fossil are in there, plus the Palpitoad line)

Mountain has:
23 Pokémon from Generation 1
22 Pokémon from Generation 2
11 Pokémon from Generation 3
15 Pokémon from Generation 4
33 Pokémon from Generation 5
14 Pokémon from Generation 6
32 Unknown (I think the Rampardos, Dratini, Hydreigon and Scizor lines are there somewhere)

I got 65 new, not 68. (Unless you're also counting Pokémon with no dex number yet)

Average: 76-ish (Excluding Gen 6)

Florges has been confirmed to stay pure Fairy

Shame, its design is literally screaming Fairy/Grass :/

Yeah, I don't get the need to make so many would-be primary Fairy-types, pure-Fairy pokémon... I mean, most dual-type Fairy-types have Fairy as the secondary type...
