At the moment, I want to get all kinds of Pokémon art scans from the cards, but I recently found out that not all cards from each set have the same artwork.

Which card sets have different art for certain cards? Like how some JP versions have different art on them. I don't really need Promo or Half Deck sets, but I find it annoying that the DP cards have different art for the JP version and all re-prints.

Just wondering, is there a way to get Pokémon *VS? Since that seems more like a cut out main set, and since I want all main set art, it'd be a help.
 
From what I've observed, Pokémon has never released different artwork for the same card unless it's from a different set (like with Pikachu from the Base Set and its identically-functioning counterpart in POP Series 2) or if the original artwork was controversial (as with Koga's Ninja Training). There are sometimes more than one of the same species per set, but they each do differnet things and have different collectors' numbers.

Or do you mean something else?
 
they only reuse art on trainers
energy search and warp point are the same from like e-reader sets
