Every game since Emerald (if I remember correctly) has had its own set of unlockable box wallpapers, so these are obviously HG/SS-only.

Stupid.

How do you unlock them in D/P? I never knew of any to be unlocked.

Just put in your trainer ID and select the game you're playing (for D/P/Pt it's the same guy that unlocks the Mystery Gift)

Those are some really good wallpapers, I like how they are unlockable each month. Are they for Japan only or overseas? You will probably be able to unlock them via Pokewalker or something like that.

On Youtube, I watched all the gym battles in HGSS and is very disappointed. I like to train my Pokemon high and this looks like its going to be easy of a game. Don't get me wrong, Red looks like a real challenge and maybe even the Kanto Gym leaders will be okay but the Johto ones and the Elite four are pushovers. It has pushed me away from the games which is sad because I never played GSC and would love to play it but this pushes me further away. Any people who've got the game: What do you think of the gym battles? Please reply to me to tell me what you think since I love to know.,

The gym battles are ok, but as you said raichupika, they are very underleveled. HOWEVER, the Elite 4 and especially the champion are not as easy as the gym leaders. If you like to train your pokemon to high levels, you won't have too much of a problem, but personally I like playing with an underleveled team. The Kanto gym leaders are somewhat hard, and especially Sabrina. Ugh, it took me like 3 times to beat her! Red is the most fun battle I've had in any pokemon game I've ever played! It is not easy, but it is really fun! The gyms themselves, the puzzles, are pretty fun, especially Claire's gym (8th in Johto). IMO, it's a fun game, even when the gym leaders are easier than they should be. These gym leaders are no easier than any of the Platinum gym leaders though.

The Kanto gyms are easy in FR/LG. I bet they are not much harder in HG/SS. I will have my Diamond and Pearl team cloned onto whichever version I do get. I did that with my Pearl 10 days ago and it saved over 16 hours of beating the game. It is so much faster by cloning a level 100 team onto your new games. They might not obey but it pays off in the longrun.

Well now you can migrate as many times as you want in HG/SS perday so that is good news. No more waiting 24 hours like in D/P/PL. I hope I can get one of the copies so I can migrate more often.

Yeah I can't wait for HG/SS now as it is getting better all the time. I want HG/SS for this reason and many other reasons that the past games just don't have.
