this set looks like one of the coolest yet! even though i have some cards already in japanese... i love that wailord, im gonna try and get my hands on that one in english soon.

Banette EX isn't that good. Well, I guess there has to be bad cards so that there can be good cards.

PASS!

Banette ex does not seem that bad: (1) its 90 HP escapes the one damage counter between turns effect of Desert Ruins, (2) its Shadow Chance can deal up to 60 damage (with three Supporters in the discard pile) for a Psychic Energy and a Colorless Energy, more likely useful towards the later stages of a battle and (3) would be beneficial playing in the EM-on format when most Darkness type Pokémon are rotated out.

Althought 90HP does get past desert ruins, I rather have an EX weak to it and have more than 90HP. Pokemon are doing more and more damage, and having 90HP only works for 1 ex I know of and it blows itself up.

Banette's damage maxes out at 90, and that's with 6 supporters in your discard pile, which will averagely take 4-6 turns to do. So by the 6-8th turn, you can start doing 90. And that's if you draw into a supporter every turn. I just don't see it being that powerful, and really, if it isn't breaking a combo, and it isn't super powerful, it just won't do well at all.

Just my 2 cents.

well he does have similar moves to the fossil gengars pokemon power and marowaks FRLG second attack. I don't think he would be that great of a card and i cant see it being an arch type card that many people would even play with
