RE: The Jive: A TCG Team for Experienced Players. Returning to work on the Tier List.
Alright I am sorry that I have not been putting 100% into this clan, I have been swamped in Mid-Terms and all of that other goobledygook. There are a couple of things that I would like to adress:

1. All members please post telling me that they are still active and that their info is correct on the main page. I will correct any problems/laziness.

2. Wiseman. I would like for you to return to work as our Co-Leader, especially since this club would like some forums. If you are not up to the task please let me know so that I can find another member who is willing to help out.

3. Members please tell me if you have won any State Championships/ Equivlant Tournaments this season.

4. Please help out with our current Tier List, I have now finally fixed it up with all of the various states reports, and I will begin to add decklists to the page.

Thank you, that is all.

Now onto actual TCG junk and stuff... I have a couple of topics.

1. Porygon and Gliscor for Regionals.
Does anybody think that they will use Porygon or Gliscor for Regionals? They are both good looking cards, Porygon especially, but I wanted to see if anybody had a list or two, I have yet to see a decent Porygon list since Lou has refused to spoonfeed the masses.

2. Rampardos???
What happened to Rampardos, this has to be a fluke, or one of the biggest cases of Net-Hyping ever. Rampardos has barely scratched the format, is it because of the Trainer Locking capabilities of Dialga or because people would rather just play G decks. Could Rampardos possibly be making a run at Regionals? Discuss.

3. The Tier list.
After all of the States Reports that I have seen I have compiled what I believe is the Tier list. Be sure to correct me, but I am almost sure that this is right, now all we have to do is work on the decklists.

Kings of the Format
1. Dialga Lock
2. Dialga/Palkia
3. Machamp
4. Palkia Lock
5. Toxitank
6. Kingdra
7. Gengar

The Second String
8. Tyranitar
9. AMU
10. Regigigas
11. Obamatrix
12. Ampharos
13. Shaymin Variants (Land Forme)
14. Blast-Catty

The Benchwarmers
15. Rampardos
16. Rhyperior
17. Dusknoir Variants (Speed, Spread, Tech)
18. Giratina Variants (Hand Control, Spread, and Kiss)
19. Magnezone (Heatran, Vire, Self Service)
20. BlazeRan
21. T2Bee
22. Speed-Manetric

Back In Business? Maybe.

im am still active.
there were alot of rampardos in the senior and junior division i think most of the good master players were palying g lock deck or the more consistant kingdra donk/machamp.

Alright. I know I have not been active and that is definatly due to my mom with no CPU and more studies...so I am trying to put finishing touches on the forums. I PROMISE THEY WILL BE DONE SOON!

JUST AS DOX I have not put 100% in, but this weekend I will work my A double S off to make sure they are done.

As for SD's or deck lists for Regionals, I like Gengar, Tyranitar, and not much else. I say we go off of Gengar.

1. I could see the porygon Z useful, but I really don't know what he could LV UP. Maybe you could play a TM deck to max damage and LV UP DGLVX for body lock. AMU...no. I really am not seeing ME using it, but it has a slim chance. The gliscor has too low HP and 20...which isn't bad if ran right, but not enough to win regionals.

2. Rampardos....threat. But I just think that it has some unfavorable matchups or, my other theory, that it is so easy to just play around it. Pure damage can be played around, but I am considering playing Rampardos as it truly does have skillz.

3. The only thing I see wrong is: No Torterrible. UNLESS shaymin variants would go with that.

For the tier list, where's Magmortar?

As for Rampardos, that was a shock to me too.

Yeah I just built a Porygon Z list and I feel that it should be included somewhere in the tier list. It is amazing. I start dealing 80+ damage on T2. Cressy, Dialga, and Mewtwo are all options for Porygon Z's first attack as well. I am going to be moving on to Gliscor soon, so tell me what you all think.

Torterrible is considered part of the Shaymin Variants but I still say that there are better options than Torterra. Magmortar has been completely inexistant during this format, I do not know how it works or even if it would work. It would work decently against Dialga G Lv.X but it wouldn't hold up against any of the other Tier 1 decks.

Back In Business? Maybe.

porygon-z will be very unexpected i believe.
it will probably top cut a few only because no one has had time to build an amazing list seeing as how it was released 2 weeks before regionals so people either have to already have to have a good list and then playtest like crazy but idk
rampardos should be seen in the second tier because i believe it was a deck that alot of juniors and seniors used but most of the masters used donk decks or g decks.rampardos is still good but not widely used in all 3 divisions.

Rampy was, and still is, overhyped. People didn't run it at States because a lot of people sought out to counter it. The people who did run Rampy didn't do too well. It just isn't as good as we thought it was. After all...it IS a fossil.

Mismagius is a good tech to block any Machamps, Porygon-Zs, and G decks. It's that awesome.

I want to point out one thing about Magmortar. There was 1 Semifinalist Magmortar varient in the first weekend of States. Ampharos, Shaymin varients, Rypherior, Blazeran, and T2Bee, which you have all of them on the tier list, had no decks in the Semifinals. Just saying.
