Every comment in here is missing the fact that Herdier is run in just about every type of Bee list being played in Standard at the moment. It's 100x better for Bees than PoT, especially considering how prolific Vileplume is in Standard. So, very viable, but only in certain archetypes. Also...

Well it would be completely unprecedented, for one. Second, there's no way they want a format that only has 3 sets to work from. It would just be incredibly unhealthy for the game. Set size has nothing to do with it, as sets are 75% filler for the most part.

The art on Trevenant is fantastic.

There is zero chance that we start the 2017-18 season with 3 sets in standard. It's not going to happen, so don't get your hopes up.
