    DurantDurant

So I havent played in a while, i played a few months ago right before EX's came out, and quit because I didnt want to have to deal with Mewtwo, but I feel like picking up the game again. I figured since I dont know much about this format, I'd build a deck that I was very familiar with; Durant...

    DurantDurant Mill

So im gonna use this for Cities in the Florida Marathon this week, and I wanna get some opinions on it. Just last minute touches. I forgot to test this, as I really only got serious about it after I heard how good it had been doing Pokemon 4 Durant 1 Rotom 3-3 Weavile T/S/S 3 Collector...

Options other than Hypno in Durant?

The only problem with Roserade is that I would have to run Rainbow Energies. Though I really do like the idea of Roserade. I guess the energy line up would be a bit like this? 4 Sp. Metal 4 Rainbow 3 Basic Metal Does anyone think this would hurt the deck at all?

Options other than Hypno in Durant?

For disruption, in my list I run: Weavile Seeker Catcher Lost Remover Crushing Hammer Team Rockets Trickery But I dunno, I just feel like it can make the difference against decks like Zekrom or Reshiram

Options other than Hypno in Durant?

Hypno in Durant is used primarily as a stall. You have a 1/2 chance to put it to sleep, and a 1/2 chance it will stay asleep. For me, this isn't worth it to risk ruining my consistency for that 1/4 chance. However, I understand how important that one turn can be. Disruption and stall that does...

    Serperior's Deck-Building Competition: Round 1. Entries due Midnight, 12/5.

Does the deck have to centralize around using Celebi, or does Celebi just have to be synergistic to the strategy? Or can Celebi jus be a tech that works well?

    Control and Disrupt (Ursuring/Slowking)

Yeah, I wanna find a way to make this somewhat viable. I feel like If I can get it set up fast enough, I'll have the ability to control my opponents game, and that can be a big advantage. The main problem I see with someone interrupting my disruption is Ninetails, since it moves through the...

    Magmortar Mill/Top Burner Mill (HGSS-on)

I run a list simmilar to yours, just without the reshi. I've found that the best amount of energies is 16, so If I may make a suggestion -3 Fire Energy +1-1-1 (Bad)boar line Adding bad boar gives you another way to be offensive, and adding the extra line helps your consistency.

    VVV (Vanilluxe/Victini/Vileplume) maybe for Cities

RE: VVV (Vanilluxe/Victini/Vileplume) mabey for Cities The only thing I'm wondering is what do you do when you KO a pokemon with Vanilluxe? Then they attack you the next turn and you're lock has been ruined. I suggest adding in a 1-1-1 or 2-1-2 Kingdra. Other than that the list looks pretty good

    THE Durant thread: Durant NV.

The way I would ATTEMPT to fight against Reshi, is with Seeker/Weavile. When they have their bench set up, use Seeker to make them pull up something important and Snipe it with Weavile. Yes, I know this is a really weak strategy, but there really isn't much else I can think of but getting lucky...

    THE Durant thread: Durant NV.

So is there any ideal counter to either Reshiram or Zekrom? I'm thinking Crushing Hammer or Lost Remover for Zekrom (Not sure if Zekrom commonly plays special energies), just to kind of disrupt them, but I don't know what to do for Reshiram. Even if we were to use Hammer/Remover, Reshiram could...

    DurantDurant Mill

Yeah, I went and played a game, then realized I forgot recovery cards I dunno about seeker though, i might take one out, but I like four so that I can maximize the use of Weavile, or it just becomes a bench sitter after a while. I like victory medal though, I think its a really good card. So...

    TZPS vs. Gothitelle/google

Weezing CL is also an option. If you run DCE, you attach it and boom. If not, you drop a Pachi and load it up. It seems like it devotes less deck space, only 2-4 cards Xatu is also and option, considering they stack energies, however, they would need to have at least 4 on them.
