Sand stream would be even more annoying. I would set out for world conquest with my eelektross at my side. There would be a lot more explosions going around. Global warming would be even more problematic with all the fire-types.

Team preview doesn't really change anything. Sure, you can see your foe's team, but they can see yours as well. Having spent many hours on pokemon battle revolution (where there is team preview before every fight), I believe it only enhances the experience.
