Sunkern, Sunflora from “Mask of Change”

Iron leaves slots into lost box, but are there any other decks running grass energy/mirage gate? It’s a pretty specific tech

Worlds Welcome Kits and Champion Merchandise Revealed!

Ugh the march gets better each year
  3. Wailord's Pokemon

Jynx ex, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Hypno, and More from “Pokemon Card 151!”

Jynx would be an amazing water tech only if Ditto prism were still in standard. If it were a 2-card tech with 1 Jynx and 1 Hypno it would be especially viable. As is, it could be okay but probably won't see a ton of play.
  4. Wailord's Pokemon

    Glimmora, Glimmet from ‘Snow Hazard’!

I haven't played in a while, so here's a question: would Glimwood Tangle let you re-flip this effect?
  5. Wailord's Pokemon

    Jet Energy from ‘Triplet Beat’!

Seems like a solid 1-of in some decks.

Standard Format Rotating in April, Pokemon Tool Errata Announced!

You'd think, but beta's been such a disaster that they might need more time.

First “Scarlet ex & Violet ex” Cards Revealed: The Beginning of the Gen 9 TCG!

It's great that we now have 80HP starters and a 90HP Growlithe, but I'm still not convinced that this will be enough to offset the ridiculous power of 2 prizers. Cmon, we're talking 10HP.

First “Scarlet ex & Violet ex” Cards Revealed: The Beginning of the Gen 9 TCG!

Very neat! Both box legendaries are more support than nutty attackers which is a nice change of pace. Also excited to see Tera ex's that change types. My only gripe is that this isn't a soft reboot; I was hoping the new regulation block would drop HP and damage so that 70HP basics aren't...

Gold Arceus VSTAR, Dialga VSTAR, Darkrai VSTAR, and Melony from “VSTAR Universe!”

that Arceus art might be the best in TCG history

Man it's crazy how long it's been since I've played the game. I just logged in here and was amazed at how it's been over three years since I was at Worlds. Best days of my life. It's a shame; I'm almost out of high school and will probably never be able to pick up the game again, especially...

'Shocking Volt Tackle,' Japan's September Set!

adpz won't play special metal en masse. no more than a 2-of since it can't be ultimate rayed on
  12. Wailord's Pokemon

'World Down' and 'Legendary Heartbeat,' Japan's Summer Sets Introducing Amazing Rares!

This card's a gimmick, and it being a stage 2 adds to its clunkiness

'Eruption Walker' Japan's Mini-Set for April!

Centiscorch is simply an awful card. This seems weird to say, but its HP is too low to justify its attack.

'Eruption Walker' Japan's Mini-Set for April!

There may not be a rotation going into next season, since tournaments were canceled.
  15. Wailord's Pokemon

    'VMAX Rising,' Japan's February Set!

After some testing, I feel like twin energy is gonna be a really welcome addition to the game. Welder decks are already phasing out of the metagame, and the new supporter rule is a real hinderance to the card and the archetypes that surround it. Decks such as lost march will become playable...
