That's definitely relevant if you get something like M Garchomp which may be subjectively better in it's normal form with life orb or rocky helmet.

Playing online is also good! Some people like @Otaku swear by it. A cheap way to get better at the game - some say even free. The online community is generally a good representative of the kind of people that you would meet at league cups.

I think Greninja BREAK looks set to be a great deck in Expanded! This is especially due to the downfall of grass decks like Decidueye GX, Lurantis GX etc. I think there was a deck analysis on that on the front page. So that'll definitely save you money and helps you master that one deck in both...
