The only thing I see against Aegislash is to tech a Toxicroak EX. I'm also worried about the untouchable sword. AZ may seem clunky but it has come in handy more that once for me.

Maybe Ariados/Foretress could work ? The opponnent has no grass : use Ariados before attacking. The opponent has grass : use Foretress next turn after attacking. The two benefit from Forest of Giant Plants, as long as you have the full line in hand you can make direct use of their power.
