Help Do State/Province Championships Still Exist?

Just a quick question: this year I was planning to attend my second state/province championships this coming spring (2018) however, when I want under the “play Pokemon events” tab on pokemon.com, state/province championships did not show up. So my question is, do they still exist, or were they replaced with something else?

Nope they were completely removed. Also battleroads became league challenges, cities became leauge cups, regionals stayed the same, and nationals became internationals.
 
I mean, ARG states still exist.... They're not official events, and they got into some copyright trouble from Pokemon from their Easter Eggstravaganza. And you don't get points. And a lot of people don't show up. And most of them don't use Pokemon judge guidelines. And most of them don't even have approved judges. Better yet, just don't go to ARG states.
