I’d like to know what you think has been the strongest deck in terms of power, consistency and matchups throughout the years. I only started playing just after Phantom Forces so I can’t really help pre that era. For me:

Early 2013 Spring regionals: Rayquaza/Eelektrik
Mid 2013 Spring regionals: Team Plasma
Late 2013 Spring regionals: Team Plasma
For 2013 US Nats: Team Plasma
For 2013 Worlds: Virizion/Genesect

Worlds 2011 google's the truth, emboar reshiram, or magnezone prime varients.
Feb 2012 -may 2012 mewtwo ex, i believe it was most commonly played with eels.
May 2012-aug 2012 darkrai ex
Aug 2012-nov 2012 rayeels, darkrai, garchomp
Worlds 2012 darkrai ex is still the most played deck. Rip Mike, potential worlds champ, who whiffs top cut because one person didnt show up to play.
Nov 2012-may 2013 rayeels, keldeo ex, landerous ex, and darkrai are the 4 best decks without a clear favorite as far as i can remember.
May 2013-aug 2013 PLASMA BOIS
Worlds 2013 virision/genesect sweeps the format, hyped like gardevoir but 8/8 top cut.
I stoped playing at the start of 2014 so thats all i got.
