Hello, I was fortunate enough to make top 8 at my last league cup, but I was wondering what to play for the next one. I would like it to be pretty competitive. I am anticipating a lot of Decidueye vilplume, volcanion and turbo dark. I am mainly looking for a consistant build with good match-ups.

I would suggest building a Lapras GX/Hammers deck. It has a 80-20 matchup against Volcanion EX, an 70-30 against Darkrai EX and 50-50 against decidueye. It's also pretty cheap. No shaymins, onky 4 Lapras GX. It made top 4 masters in a regional in Europe.
What did you run at your last LC and what's the meta in your area? M Mewtwo-Garbodor and M Rayquaza decks are 2 other popular and competitive deck options too.

Can't go wrong with owls. It's bdif for a reason.
Volcanion can go the distance if you're careful what you bench, but you always run the risk of getting boned by item lock.
Mega Gardevoir is also very good.
