This thread is used to promote sanctioned Pokemon events. It is simple, just make a post. Do not forget to include the URL of the sanctioned event page at Pokemon.Com. You may instead link to a website page that then has the URL to the sanctioned event page at Pokemon.Com as I know that some of us use Facebook and the like to promote events.

If you are a player who has any questions about an event posted in this thread, contact the organizer directly. If your question warrants an update of the event listing on this thread, the organizer will make it. Otherwise, extraneous posts will be deleted.

Hey Everyone,

Kings Games is hosting a Pokémon City Championship Tournament this Sunday, December 13th. Registration begins at 11am and play begins at 12pm.

Entry Fee:
Junior Division Admission - FREE
Senior Division Admission - FREE
Masters Division Admission - $10.00

The tournament is run using the Standard Constructed Format and Age Modified Swiss pairings

Participants will receive 2 Play! Points just for playing!

Prizes are awarded to the top 4 players in each age division.

1st Place
18 Pokémon TCG booster packs
Masters Division players receive an additional 18 packs (36 total)
A City Championships Playmat
50 Championship Points

2nd Place
10 Pokémon TCG booster packs
Masters Division players receive an additional 10 packs (20 total)
40 Championship Points (if age division attendance is 4 or greater)

3rd & 4th Place
4 Pokémon TCG booster packs
Masters Division players receive an additional 6 packs (10 total)
30 Championship Points (if age division attendance is 8 or greater)

5th–8th Place
Masters Division players receive 4 Pokémon TCG booster packs
20 Championship Points (if age division attendance is 32 or greater)

9th–16th
Masters Division players receive 2 Pokémon TCG booster packs
10 Championship Points (if age division attendance is 64 or greater)

Registration opens at 11am
Play begins at 12pm

Players receive 6 booster packs of Pokémon BREAKpoint which you'll use to build your deck. These cards are yours to keep after you complete the event. All participants will receive a Pokémon BREAKpoint Prerelease promo card, while supplies last. In addition, all players who complete the event will receive 2 additional booster packs of Pokémon BREAKpoint.

We'll be hosting Side Event Booster Drafts during our Pokemon BREAKpoint Prerelease

-Players will draft FIVE BREAKpoint Booster Packs.
-Cards you've drafted are yours to keep once the draft is over!
-We'll be adding one booster pack per player into the prize pool.
