Pokemon Mysteries In Pokemon

Game Freak, as much as we all love them, usually does a pretty good job of leaving loose ends scattered around their games, especially if you really look into it. This thread is for bringing up and possibly finding answers to these such mysteries.

To start us off, here are some examples:

• In Hearthome City in Sinnoh there is a church. In this church there is no background music and there are many people who talk about bonds and friendships and... that's about it. Not only is this the only time anything like religion has ever been referenced in a Pokemon game, there's no purpose to the building from a story or even gameplay perspective. Why does it exist?
• In generation 5 the "invisible walls" Game Freak used to stop you accessing areas they didn't want you to access at that point in the game was a flash mob of middle-aged men dancing. Why? Just.... why?

Some of the mysteries are actually serious (the church one) whereas others aren't so much. However, answers must be found!

Any idea what is that mountain in the picture at the Foreign building? The light that comes out of it might tell the story behind this "church". Maybe Arceus?
