I have also noticed this trend lately, i dont know why is this happening but i hope it stops, if i had to guess, it could be a post rotation effect, testing and playing a lot of different decks that need a lot.of different cards so people buy a lot of them, thus increasing the price, of course...

I'm almost sure it doesn't stack, since it doesnt say: "put 4 more damage counters between turns to your opponent's burned pokemon" like seviper's "more poison" ability

I also thought this was the shiny version one, quite disappointing.

I assume you can't move it to golurk and if golurk is your only benched pokemon, the ability does nothing.
