Dodrio and Zoroark are both Stage 1 so the set up is the same, unless you consider the float stone more work. Zoroark's attack and ability are better than Dodrio in my opinion. Either way once you have 2 Bronzong on the bench, Scizor and M Scizor basically have free retreat.

While the free retreat of Dodrio may be nice, it is not necessary. Scizor EX and M Scizor EX are both 2 retreat cost. Since you are running Bronzong, paying the retreat is nothing since you can metal links the energy back. This lets you retreat a damaged Scizor/M Scizor and then Max Potion...

Winona may be a good play in this as well as you can get 3 colorless pokemon and they don't have to go to the bench or be basics.

With a 1-1-1 line of golduck, you run the risk of at least 1 piece being prized and then the whole strategy goes down the tubes. I didn't add splash energy because you cant max elixir it. I will test out adding some splash but I may stick with 2-2-2 golduck. Thanks
