Interesting Lyc promo! Because it is released on February, we will expect Sun&Moon boosters.

BTW, in the GX holo pattern which I can't comment due to that "Error" thing, we will see if the holos were like EXs, and if the GXs were just like BREAKs, take the place of reverse slot in booster packs.

Oh come on, Zygarde couldn't have been a dragon type?

Is this the card that we'll get in the Zygarde complete collection I wonder?

MY EVALUATIONS!
  • Gundam Zygarde - Can you tell to the translators that Ground Force = Land's Wrath ? The card is a future non-EX attacker but the AC is not deserving.
  • Rayquaza - Attach 2 Energy for 2 Energy is not too good.
  • Lycanroc Subset - Since Lyc GX is a promo, the other cards from that deck/set will be seen in SM2 Probably.

The Rayquaza looks like a Universal Yveltal/M Manectric that could be used in so many strategies... But figuring out which ones would work best with it will require a lot of thought and testing.

Another Rayquaza card? REALLY??
At least this one actually seems like a good splashable tech, for most decks, but really did it have to be rayquaza again?

they just want to go all out and print broken cards... Ray's attack used to be the attack of "1-energy attach" MManectric and now we get it on a basic.

Rayquaza is a Virizion-EX that only gives one prize and is universal (and DCE compatible) but for the costs of lower HP, no Verdant Wind and having to attach from the discard (which means you'll have to do the work of getting the Energy cards into the discard beforehand). Is that enough to make it viable? The pros miiiiiight outweigh the cons here...just.

Rayquaza could be nice in decks that already use dce to set up as well as regular energies (mega audino, pidgeot)

Zygarde looks very cool, too bad the attacks are unoriginal garbage. They could've made it dragon type at least to compensate, oh well...

Rayquaza may not be that bad. I'm not sure how succesful it will be in the upcoming GX format. It can hardly compete with Xerneas or Lurantis GX. You can boost it with Fighting Fury Belt and Double Colorless Energy however. So Rayquaza got that going for him.

Except that MMan did 110 damage - very respectable - and was a counter to Yveltal on top of what it did. Also could be boosted by Max Elixer. Also there was battle comp so easier to get specific energy in the discard to power up, say, something with specific energy requirements (Joltic, Glaceon, Regice, Ho-Oh).

This card needs a DCE and only does chip damage, unless you're a joltic, and it's harder to search out and get specific energy in the discard to power up something specific. This theory deck would need to play 4 DCE, and would only play mono-color on top of that. Sounds clunky.

Ooh, free retreat tho.
