Sounds pretty good. Cradily for States!
Well, I'm trying to make a deck centered around Gallade. The strategy is to make all of my opponent's pokemon at 50 HP, then swoop in and OHKO everything. And...I'm kinda struggling. I have in my deck so far:
-Gallade
-Cresselia Lv. X
- Swalot
I was thinking Weavile and Palkia Lv. X as techs... Oh, and:
Pros:
-Reduces everything to a managable HP range
-Gallade can take a hit
-Cresselia lets me swoop in for 2 prizes
-Is pretty fast because of Sonic Blade only needing 2 energy
Cons:
-Can't think of any right now...
Any suggestions?
DOX: Nice deck man! I love Cradily and his skills, I may take out a 1-1 Shay X knowing all the DGLVX going to be played...I need to post a deck soon
I am going Cradily, Gengar, or Kingdra. IDK yet.
TFO: I made a deck like this, with Cress X/Mothim SW. What I would do is take out the swalot, you don't really need it.
I would make it a 3-2-3 Gallade/2-2 Cress X/2 Crobat G/2-1 Uxie X...
This way...STRAT: Get out a quick T2 Gallade and bring the opponent down to 50. Switch in with some random pokemon that is benched (won't matter early). Set up Uxie/Uxie X on bench and Cress X w/energy T5...and soon get another Gallade (late deck). Once your first Gallade is KO'ed, then send your new one out, and bring down to 50, sending out Cress X. If playing Rampards (scenario), he hits for 80 on cress, your turn. Well, you have 2 open bench spaces and 2 'Pardos that only have 50 left. First, use full moon dance to spread to make 1 pardos have 40 HP left. Then, moon skip it for OHKO2 prizes. Repeat. Crobat G supports, Gallade weakens, and in 3 moonskips, Game over.
TECH you could use: Jumpluff SW, a good switch in for gallade, w/Free Retreat and hard to hit.
Hope I helped, I don't have any time to think, I have to sleep. Bye!
Sorry to be posting so many decklists but I just made one that is great.
2-2 Octillery
4 Unown R
1 Unown Q
(9)
19 Water
(19)
4 Pokedrawer +
2 Rare Candy
4 Pokemon Rescue
4 TSD
4 Great Ball
4 Quick Ball
2 Professor Rowan
4 Pokedex Handy 910is
3 Pokeball
1 Speed Stadium
(32)
The idea is to start with any of the three choices. I want to start with Remoraid but anythin else is fine. I can just use Unown Q to help free retreat to get the Remoraid active. I then use all of the Pokeballs to get as many Unown R as possible. I then start to Retire all of them, which helps me draw even more. I then use TSD and Pokemon Rescue to recycle the Unown R, getting me even more cards. I can then use Rare Candy to get myself the Turn 1 Octillery. After that I use Professor Rowan to put all of the water energies that I drew back into the deck. I use Water Vein and deal massive damage.

Currently only have 1 Cress and 1 Lv. X right now, I'll see what I can do to replace the missing 2.

Yes, you did help.
I'll have a decklist before I go to bed.
EDIT: List!
Pokemon (20):
3-2-3 Gallade
1-1 Cresselia Lv. X
2-1 Uxie Lv. X

2 NM
2 Pokemon Rescue
2 Premier Ball
2 Moonlight Stadium

3 Pokedex Handy

3

2 Multi
Strategy: Get an early Gallade, and spam Sonic Blade. While you're reducing everything to 50 HP, charge a Cresselia up. If Gallade hasn't died by the time you reduce everything to 50, Psychic Cut a few times. Once Gallade dies, use Full Moon Dance to move damage to the Defending, then use Moon Skip for the KO.
i just had an idea, and it works pretty well.
pokemon: 19
3-2-3 jumpluff SW
2-2 shaymin X (land)
3-1 uxie X
2 unown G

Unown K is absolutely needed in a Drapion Lock deck. Because without it, I can't, well, lock. I don't go for the Darkrai/Weavile/Palkia Strategy because I don't think Drapion has enough HP to be a tank and withstand all the heavy hitters out there.

And so you see my struggle lol. I like Uxie just in case I need a secondary hitter. But I might swap out my Claydols for Trainer/Supporter draw power.

I use to run Gallade with MT Rampardos lol. I spam sonic blade, and then swoop in with Assurance. =] Palkia and a lot of switches does the trick. And now that Pokeblower is in the game, you could use those.
DOX, why don't you play 4-4 Octillery? Wouldn't it be 2 times as fast?
I am considering running Ludicolo. (depends on what i can get before the states)
Pokemon:20
4-3-4 Ludicolo Pt [Shiny Lotad]
2-2 Shaymin lvx [land forme]
2-1 Uxie lvx
2 Unknown G
T/S/S:25
4 Bebe's Search
4 Roseanne's Research
2 Bucks Training
3 Pokdex Handy
2 Quick Ball
4 Rare Candy
1 Luxury Ball
2 Level Max
2 Dawn Stadium
1 Leftovers
Energy:15
9

4 Rainbow
2 Call
ESP: 2-2 Octillery is all I need. If I start wasting space on things that I don't need then I would start taking out Energy/Trainers which are crucial to buring the deck into a pile of Energy.
XEmpoX: Play 4 Rainbow, it lets you be able to use your first attack, and you heal the damage off anyway.
Everybody: I may be inactive for a while, I can feel the flu starting to work its magic. I only have a couple of days until Feb Vacation so I'll definatly be active then.

Yeah, I'm gonna keep Uxie for that reason. If I have the right setup, I can OHKO a Gengar...saaacrifiiice

Yeah, I was thinking of that, but then people showed me how good Cresselia Lv. X was.
I've tested my Gallade deck against my Drapion deck, and even though Gallade got a bad start, it really came back toward the end. However, Drapion gained 3 prizes before Gallade could do anything, so victory went to Drapion.

was it you VS you? if so, the winner usually isn't the best, but the winner is the one you want to win.
oh, and is my deck ignored because it's too good for changes?
or because it needs to many changes?

Actually, if I just keep switching sides of the table, I'm not that biased at all. If I stay on one side continuously...I'm biased. It's weird, but it works.

HAHA that's EXACTLY what I do to practice. If I'm biased, I can't see if a deck will work. Though, I always play late at night. Which leads to A LOT of misplays. There were times where it was mid-late game and when I went to take my first prize card, I realized I forgot to lay them out ahaha.

Yeah, so I have to keep switching. I'm really surprised how well it works. And I do make a lot of misplays when I'm tired. "I send out Palkia! Level Up! Wait! REDO, REDO!"
I had no Moonlight or Weavile out at the time.
